Limitless Broadcast was proud to partner with Premier Sports to deliver comprehensive remote production coverage of 14 EPCR Challenge Cup games and key United Rugby Championship (URC) matches during the 2024 season. This included fixtures from Glasgow and Connacht, even in areas where no traditional broadcast connectivity was available.

Leveraging “The Limitless Way” - our resilient and scalable remote production model - we were able to deliver high-quality coverage across all four regions of the British Isles. From seamless live feeds to robust editorial integration, Limitless ensured Premier Sports could offer uninterrupted and professional rugby coverage to its audiences regardless of technical constraints on-site.

Technical Delivery

Our Match and VT galleries were fully operated from the Limitless Innovation Hub, providing editorial continuity and technical control from a central location. On-site camera crews and production specialists worked closely with the remote team to capture, produce, and deliver seamless coverage across every game.

Production Features

📌 Multi-Camera Setup: 8 to 12 cameras were deployed per match, including RF, mini-cams, and ENG cameras for comprehensive angles and storytelling.
📌 Big Screen Integration: Live feeds were delivered to on-site stadium screens with near-zero delay to enhance the fan experience in-venue.
📌 HIA Video Feeds: Dedicated Head Injury Assessment feeds were provided to support player welfare and safety protocols via partner HawkEye.
📌 On-Site Commentary: A live 3-person commentary team delivered authentic match-day atmosphere to the broadcast.
📌 TMO Provision: On-site TMO (Television Match Official) support was prpvided with direct gallery communication, video delays and replay, and talkback systems.
📌 Official Analyst Feeds: Live video feeds were supplied to home and away analysts, as well as Citing Commissioners, to assist with review and disciplinary processes.
📌 Live Graphics & Data: Match clocks and live statistics were integrated via Hyper, a cloud-based graphics platform providing data-rich overlays. Our in-house data feed system was used to collect clock data from site and return via our cloud control system to the provider.
📌 Pitchside Interviews: Pre and post-match interviews were captured on location to deliver key insights and emotional reactions, and handle world-feed requirements.
📌 EVS and AI Replays: Our EVS and VT teams provided instant replays, with additional AI-driven slow-motion from multiple angles to enrich the viewing experience.
📌 Production Management: Full on-site production management ensured fluid coordination between venue crews and remote operators.
📌 Transmission Delivery: All content was delivered live as a World Feed to BT Tower and simultaneously supplied to Premier Sports’ distribution channels and partners.
